Kaohsiung Outdoor Urinal

I was walking near Kaohsiung Main Station when I stumbled across this urinal installed outdoors on a corrugated metal wall left over from an old construction site. From what I saw on Google Street View, this wall is the only piece of the site still standing, and it has even been repainted since, so that makes me wonder, is this actually meant to be permanent?
What makes it even stranger is how close the urinal is to the station entrance, you just cross the road and you’re there. On top of that, there’s a vehicle-free road directly in front of it, which means there’s practically no privacy at all.
But anyway, it’s probably temporary, or at least I hope it is.
I took this picture partly because it’s quite unexpected to see that here, but I also liked how the tree complements the scene; a little bit of beauty next to the visual atrocity.
